Day 70, Star effects

Darwin showed us a neat trick on the tour to make a dramatic star on top of a tree effect. All you do is go to the edge of a trees shadow, lay down and take the photo from the tip of the shadow. That way you end up with the sun right at the tip of the tree.

In my photo, the snow was nice and smooth in the foreground. But of course when you lay down in the snow in front of your dog they think you are playing and pounce on you....... goodbye smooth snow...
